Whatever brought us together, I'm happy that we found each other. I hope that you stay a while, get to know me and the work we do here online to create a happ(ier) and healthier, inspired + empowered community.
Just remember when you are feeling stuck in life, or in need of some change in your world, that there is always every opportunity for a new beginning.
Trust me when I say, "I've been there!" and not once, but many, many times.

Welcome to The Sunshine Estate. A labor of love that we continue to build as an online community for you, for me, and for us, to grow in grace together. To discover the light that is breaking its way through us, like a diamond being formed through coal under pressure, or a caterpillar struggling to break free of its cocoon to expand its new wings as a butterfly.
I share my truths, my heart, my hurts, my inspirations…. all so we can grow and be stronger. My hope is that you’ll see yourself in these stories. Or your sister. Or your best friend. Or that girl that you don’t get a long with so well. We are all a reflection of some form of ourselves.
A few years ago, I thought…. who am I to share this? I was no one special. I was never an overnight success story. I was… just a girl, living my life, dealing with the ups and downs that were thrown at me on a daily basis.
But, I found that I couldn’t stay invisible any more. I couldn’t stay silenced. The road that had presented itself to me has not always been an easy one. But much like Alice exploring her way through Wonderland or Dorothy discovering her own powers along the yellow brick road, we learn that an ordinary journey can provide a world of adventures and from that we can be forever changed.
As a life coach, I don’t have all the answers. But together, we will map out worlds of possibility so that you can connect to your own truths. Truth breeds clarity. Clarity = power. And once you are rooted in your truth and your power, anything is truly possible.

Looking back I’ve found that the greatest inspirations in my life have been the things that have completely broken me. It wasn’t until years later, lots of healing, and the passage of time that I was able to look back and realize that those hurts, and disappointments, and set backs didn’t break me into millions of little pieces, but instead broke me open so that I could expand, transcend, grow.

there is something beautiful that arises after the broken...
You will know that you are ready for the change, when you wake up and truly know that you just can't feel the way that you feel any longer. And when you are in that surrender and willing to see things differently, you become a magnet for the tools you need to get to that next level. The right book appears. A YouTube video. A message in a TV show you watch. You meet a new friend (or in our tribe, a whole bunch of new friends!).
Working with a coach is like having someone take a flashlight out, shine a light on the dark and scary parts, and then guide you all the way through to the other side.
I know, personally, because I've had some pretty great coaches in my life! I have collected their teachings in making them my own practices, and so many of the things I've learned along the way, to help me feel happ(ier) and put them in a toolbox for us to utilize and create the steps for you to keep moving forward. I have always had a passion for self development, business entrepreneurship, beauty and all things self-love: magical, mystical, energy infused, even better! But, these things all tend to mean even more when you are forced to put them into practice. Not to long ago, I can remember a time in my life where I felt burnt out, overwhelmed, not full-filled, and always running to the next thing without taking any time to check in with myself, my body, or my soul. I was ready for a change.

I am Dianna Novela, a real estate agent and a lifestyle and wellness coach. I coach women through the in-between space of a life transition: The "how-the-heck-did-I-get-here to either back where you actually want to be or to the "how-do-I-get-to-this-new-place-I-want-to-be". I am the founder of The Sunshine Estate and the creator and host of Happ(ier) Hour, a meetup community for women to connect with other like minded women over a cup of tea (or let’s be real, a glass of wine or something stronger!) and chat about real issues that the modern woman is facing! I coach indivduals, lead group masterminds or online programs, and host private workshops and retreats.

I earned my certificate as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. What I love about this whole-istic approach to wellness is that there is more to nourishing ourselves than the foods we eat. Our careers, relationships, the books we read, how we process stress, these all affect and contribute to our overall well being, health, and happiness. One size does not fit all when finding the right solution to create lasting change in your life, so we explore different methods of coaching to find the one that best leads you down the path to meeting a happ(ier) you. I'm also a graduate of Gabrielle Bernstein's Spirit Junkie Masterclass, Level 1 and a former licensed facilitator for Danielle LaPorte’s The Desire Map.
I dabble in all things astrology, tarot, crystals, and feng shui. True fact, at one point, I opted for a regular house energy clearing vs a house cleaner.
I'm obsessed with all things beauty: skincare, makeup, beauty devices, and even beauty nutrition. The first detox cleanse I participated in was partly inspired by the fact that I developed adult acne in my 30's. That said, I'm not sure if I own more beauty/skincare products or BOOKS. I love to read!
I currently live in Northern California, in the Silicon Valley Bay Area near San Francisco, California with my family. I'm a mom to an almost 20-year old son and dog mama to Fitzgerald, a fluffy, white (deaf) Havanese. When I'm not at home, you can likely find me at the beach for a picnic, getting some R&R in the Napa Valley, exploring La La Land, or on a foodie adventure visiting with friends jet-setting the globe.
